Just upgraded to El Capitan (apparently my Mac Pro is too old to get Sierra...planned obsolescence!) and in the process my Microsoft Trackball Explorer discombobulated itself. The left click, scroll wheel and trackball work, but the other functions do not. The Microsoft Mouse preference shows the controls for the other buttons, but changing them (particularly being able to use the right button for double-clicking) do not. I've worked with [acsupportcase@apple.com] and their recommendation was to try and get help from Microsoft. Don't think I could hold my breath that long, so I'm trying the apple support community for any ideas/suggestions!
